Honest John explains why you can have more passengers than seatbelts in older cars

Porker5 months ago

No problems at all. Can be thirsty in town because of auto box.

Fireboy4 months ago

Never had a single problem in almost three years. As expected for a reasonable large heavy car.

Now you must compress the caliper piston. Using an old brake pad and c-clapm, compress piston.

MechExp4 months ago

No one problem since bought. Tyres only last 12k. fuel consumption not great but it is an automatic and a heavy vehicle.

Remove lug nuts and tires. If you do not have an air compressor and impact gun, loosen lug nuts while vehicle is on the ground.

Drive shafts replaced. warrantyclutch master cylinder replaced. I paid the labourrear brake pads @36000m . Usually I get more than the manufactures est.. mpgdon't like the idea of spending more money on what you and others say is a reliable car.waiting for the next thing to go ..

Bri19874 months ago

Nothing has ever gone wrong with it. First 3 years servicing was included from new, and I have so far only had to buy new tyres and wiper blades.

MDG Ltd4 months ago

An excellent and very practical car that has been very reliable with only a minor problem since new. Service from the main dealer is excellent.

Matchmaker14 months ago

Have not had any problems just 1 new battery. Heavy on fuel.

Gary19964 months ago

Love it. I need a towing vehicle that can go in fields with a horsebox and one that can carry heavy loads (boxes of print). After the Suzuki Vitara I had before, it's wonderful. And for a 4x4, 177gm CO2 emissions means I'm not taxed into oblivion for owning it. If I didn't have to tow or carry heavy loads, I'd get a saloon or estate, but given the decision to go 4x4, I have no envy of other makes.

If you don't have access to a brake lathe, take it to a shop that has one and have them" turn" the rotors. There will be a manufactures ...

petHead4 months ago

Very good so far no problems. It is returning 38 mpg as a new car I am impressed.

Gary19964 months ago

Re-install rotor and caliper bracket. rotate rotor and inspect. look for any binding or crooked mounting.

Porker4 months ago

Reliable & practicle but lacks spirit and luxury. Bluetooth phone is useless

Red4 months ago

Does exactly what it says on the tin - no complaints.

Col Minessota4 months ago

Practical, easy to drive, ecomonical and reliable. Good off road performance with M&S tyres fitted.

FordOwner4 months ago

An excellent spacious all rounder which despite it's size is very easy to drive and park.....could be a little mor ecopnomical on fuel consumption.

The CRV is a great family car and excellent at dragging a caravan - which was the reason we went for it. It's that good even my wife enjoys driving it.

Gary19964 months ago

Very reliable no real problems since new this is my fifth honda and each one has been very reliable. My costs are mainly for diesel and fair wear and tear.

Corrie19994 months ago

I haven't had any problems that I can complain about with this car it takes me everywhere and not let me down it'd the family taxi come rain snow or sun. The petrol it uses is quite thirsty, insurance high which is a ripoff.

Corrie19994 months ago

In 10 years only problem was a small sensor. Very thirsty - but - a price well worth paying for a vehicle that's has reliably transported me through floods and snow and makes light work of the atrocious roads in the forest of dean.

Porker4 months ago

Reliable, pleasing to drive. Reasonable servicing costs. Brilliant dealerships.

Mary4 months ago

Excellent car, does exactly what I wanted it to do. Overall can't fault it for the purposes that I bought it for. Excellent running costs. Same the new model hasn't the same interior layout.

Fireboy4 months ago

Generally happy with car but interior quality could be improved.

FordOwner4 months ago

Overall a good car, new shape at purchase and the only problem was with the laquer and finish of the alloy wheels, having said that all four wheels were replaced under warranty. So I find the Honda CRV a practical reliable family car.

Watergirl4 months ago

excellent car all round but it has allways had a problem pulling to the nearside honda changed suspension components but fault remains

Fireboy4 months ago

Honda CR-V brake disc fault

GOOD RELIABLE CAR DOES WHAT I WANT IT TO DO, BUT COULD BE A BIT BIGGER INSIDE FOR 6' 2" PEOPLE

Porker4 months ago

Place jacks under vehicle at specified locations(again, see owners manual).

Red4 months ago

Only problem since new is a minor exhaust vibration fixed by dealer. Service package purchased which represents good value.

MechExp4 months ago

Have had no problems since purchase. Seems economical for the way it is driven.

Build quality is good but interior materials are "practical" and could be better quality. Doesn't feel as good as I thought a Honda would. Main dealer very nice but not too careful. New windscreen fitted under warranty and came back with dented front wing. Side window rubber replaced came back with scratches to door. Not a positive start with my first Honda. Didn't get any trouble with Peugeot.
