The University of Sheffield runs a series of open days between June and October. If you are interested in studying at Sheffield it gives you a chance to come and take a look around and listen to several talks given by different departments.
However, we do host three annual Open Day events when our Pre- School, Junior School and Senior Schools are open for you to see. Historically the Whole School Open Days fall in March and October, with a Pre-School event now in Jan/Feb...
You can also attend a talk in the Languages Sections. The School of Languages and Cultures offers a wide range of introductory talks, language tasters and mini lectures. This is your chance to meet staff and students, have a chat and find out more about what language learning with us is like.

This is your chance to get to know your department better. You spend a whole day with staff and students. They'll tell you more about the course and the research they do. You'll be shown around the department and the University. Some department open days include an interview.
Our campus tours allow you visit our library, sports centre and Students' Union, while you can also have a look around the city; the University is a 10 minute walk from the centre and forms a major part of the city's vibrant, friendly atmosphere.

Our next open mornings take place on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th October 2016. Tours will be available in the Infant & Junior School from 9.30-12.00pm on Friday 7th October and in both the Infant & Junior and Senior School on Saturday 8th October. No appointment or prior booking is necessary.
Most important of all, you get to find out how it feels – the atmosphere, the people, the campus and the city.
The university offers tours of the campus, the accommodation and the city, and you will be able to attend talks on a range of subjects including accommodation and finance.

Departmental Open Days – you will be invited to one of these after you have applied and if your application is considered suitable
Departments run their own open days, later in the year, after you apply. If a department offers you a place, or they're thinking of offering you a place, you'll be invited.
They take place on selected weekdays and leave at 1pm from the Students' Union Welcome Desk.
The Senior School is based at 10 Rutland Park, Sheffield, S10 2PE.
City, Hillsborough, Peaks and Olive Grove campuses will all be open for all dates.We look forward to meeting you.
Unfortunate to lose the opening game of Year 8. A short period before half time ended up costing the boys who were otherwise superb throughout. Two goals from Jonah Raby were almost enough to get a result. The boys can take lots of positives from the game, including the some very encouraging performances.
The orthoptic talk will give you information about the roles of an orthoptist, the orthoptic degree and career prospects. You will also get an opportunity to meet current students.
