Sir Joseph Williamson’s Mathematical School is a boys’ grammar school with 1180 students on roll that admits girls in the sixth form, and is regularly oversubscribed. The school became an Academy in April 2011. We are a National Support School and the Chief Executive is a Local Leader of Education.

Our aim is to support young people in becoming happy, confident and active citizens, ready to play a leading role in whatever walk of life they choose. We do this by ensuring our students do achieve the best possible academic outcomes, while at the same time encouraging them to play a full role in the wider life of the school.

We usually run Open Days on the same days across all of our campuses, so you can visit the location where your course is based. Visit us and find out why we are the UK's most creative university.

Many children find that spending a taster day at King's the ideal way to find out if the School is the right fit for them. On a taster day, children are paired up with one of their prospective classmates who will show them the ropes, accompany them to their classes and anwer any questions they may have about life at the School.

Through our family of schools we do “transform the life chances” of all of our children and young people.

Our next Open Day is on Saturday 1st October 2016 from 9.15 - 12pm. More information will be available shortly. There is no requirement to book, but if you have any questions, please contact our Registrar, Mrs Lynne Davies, on 01634 888590 or admissions@kings-rochester.co.uk.
