We have worked to establish an ethos where we strive for high academic standards while ensuring that children are offered a broad, balanced and stimulating curriculum. We place value on the importance of forming positive and constructive relationships within the school, and aim to support all children to achieve their potential and have high aspirations.

The School is recognised nationally (though not exclusively) for its work in the visual arts and in September 2004 gained the status of a Specialist Visual Arts School. It became a Foundation School in November 2010 forming a partnership with the National Deaf Children's Society and the University of the Arts London. These close partnerships have been maintained as the School moved into a new era gaining academy status on 1 November 2012.[1]

I am delighted to be able to welcome you to Heston Primary School which opened in September 2011. I have had the privilege of being the first headteacher since the school opened. We have amazing facilities, including extensive grounds, and serve a very positive school community.
