The farm is no longer a working farm but we have stables and three horses who live in our field. We also have eight chickens who provide the eggs for our breakfasts. Our house and gardens are a work in progress as we are gradually restoring both to create a beautiful and peaceful haven.

You will find a warm welcome, a comfortable room and a breakfast of locally sourced food await you. There is a separate living room for guests to use during their stay where Wi-Fi is available. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the garden that surrounds the house.

The village is known for its antique shops and also has two pubs (The Griffin, and The King's Head), a Post Office, a general store, a restaurant and other shops. The Griffin had been closed for some time but reopened early in 2013.

An electoral ward in the same name exists. This ward stretches east to the sea with a total population taken at the 2011 census of 1,901.[2]

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Hello. Welcome to our village website. You will find information about our various activities in the menus above.

Yoxford is a village in the east of Suffolk, England close to the Heritage Coast, Minsmere Reserve (RSPB), Aldeburgh and Southwold.

There are antiques aplenty, old beams and a winding old staircase to take you to your room.

Welcome to The Kings Head, Yoxford in Suffolk, a charming English country pub where our customers come first. We have bucked the modern day trend of closing at 2pm and we are open from 11am all the way through until closing, our kitchen stays open and we serve our entire menu throughout the day and in to the evening.

Some 94 miles from London and 25 miles north of Ipswich, Yoxford is surrounded by the parkland of three country houses in an area known as the “Garden of Suffolk”. The village derives its name from a ford of the River Yox where oxen could pass. It runs near the village. The junction of the A12 trunk road and the A1120 is in the village.

We have two chocolate labradors of our own, Delilah was joined two years ago by Matilda who is very cute, grown up in body, but her brain is yet to catch up!!.

We have a great many other interesting articles for you to read!

If you have anything appropriate you would like to have added to our website please email: yoxfordweb@btinternet.com
