From Gwithian, you can walk the South West Coast Path all the way to St Ives, and experience some beautiful scenery along the way. Pass through Hayle and Lelant before finally arriving at St Ives Harbour. The walk takes approximately 6 hours so be sure to bring supplies!

Gwithian is a coastal village situated in a conservation area and close to National Trust areas. Here you will find a friendly local pub, three cafes offering delicious refreshments and a surf academy. Golowan Festival is an annual community arts event that celebrates local culture and the social and natural environment. 'Mazey Day' takes place on the Saturday of the festival and guarantees to be a very colourful affair!

Situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor Trevallick's has breathtaking views and a relaxed atmosphere. We have resident Kune Kune pigs who are worth paying a visit for alone, they are very entertaining to watch and provide a friendly addition to the newly landscaped outdoor space.

Pensilva (Cornish: Pennsilva)[1] is a village in east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is at OS grid ref SX291697 about four miles (6 km) northeast of Liskeard.[2] Nearby settlements include Charaton Cross and Middlehill.

What was once a commercial sand quarry, this site has since been declared as a nature reserve. The habitat has been improved with the addition of a large pool and other smaller pools which have been fenced off, creating a safe place for wildfowl and waders. Perfect for bird watching. Dog walkers are asked to keep dogs on a lead so as to not disturb the wildlife.

Throughout the year we hold various events and have talks on different aspects of the area. Details are usually published in the Parish Pump and can also be found in the Events section of this website.

The practice has approximately 4,500 patients. The practice covers a very large rural area, centred around the village of Pensilva and extending north to the A30 including Upton Cross, Rilla Mill, Henwood, North Hill, Coads Green and Bathpool. East to the borders of Callington, including Linkinhorne and Golberdon. South to the A390 including St Ive and Quethiock. West to Liskeard including Crows Nest, Darite, St Cleer and Common Moor.

The original small settlement grew quickly during the nineteenth century in response to industrial activity on the moorland north and west of the village.[3]

Growing in size and popularity, the St Ives Food Festival features top chefs, quality Cornish goods, sandcastle competitions for children and food demonstrations.

Our tea room is the perfect place to pick up your morning latte made with Cornish roasted coffee or indulge in a leisurely Cornish afternoon tea comprised of Cornish tea, freshly made Cornish scones topped with Cornish cream and jam. We also have daily specials for lunch: homemade hot pasties, soup and toasted sandwiches.
