The Club is a popular venue for meetings, weddings and celebrations. Its location makes it extremely accessible due to the surrounding road network – only approximately 5 minutes from J1 of the M40, 10 minutes from J16 of the M25, 20 minutes from West London and 30 minutes from Heathrow.

Southlands Manor is a Grade II listed building. Its entry on the English Heritage website states that it was built in the 16th century, with a variety of later changes including the addition of four chimney stacks in the early 17th-century.[2] Analysis of a sample of timbers from the main building and its associated barn have found that they were felled in the winters of 1472/3 and 1473/4, indicating that the relevant parts of the building were erected in 1474 or soon after.[3]

Denham Village Infant School, in Cheapside Lane, was the original school for Denham, and has classes for Reception and Years 1 and 2 . The school building dates from 1832 and is listed.[6]

The 69 acres of Denham Country Park offer great recreation opportunities with its varied landscape including open space. The park has a visitor information point and café and links to local footpaths, bridleways and the South Bucks Long Distance Route. The park is surrounded by the Grand Union Canal and the rivers Colne and Misbourne.

Denham railway station has direct services to London Marylebone and High Wycombe and limited services to Princes Risborough, Aylesbury and Banbury. Connecting services link to Birmingham Snow Hill, Stratford-on-Avon and Kidderminster.

A new Denham Adventure Zone is now open in Denham Country Park. Suitable for children 12 years of age and younger, it includes a sandpit, adventure trail, tube slide, treehouse, toddler swing and multi-play frame.

Denham Golf Club was founded in 1910 when the course was constructed and existing farm buildings dating back to the 16th Century were converted into a clubhouse.

A new sculpture has been carved in Denham Country Park, sculptor Nick Garnett; formed in 3 parts representing the view through the trees - the main one being of a lady with hair flowing upwards with birds tangled in it. The money to create the sculpture was kindly donated by one of the Friends of Colne Valley Park.

The village name is derived from the Old English for "homestead in a valley". It was listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Deneham.
