Croyde Bay is a sandy beach backed by sand dunes and situated in a small bay on the North Devon Coast.

If you go up to Ilfracombe roughly around 10-20 miles away, you can take a ferry to Lundy Island just across the Atlantic Ocean.

Croyde has no education resources in the village. Children have access to Georgeham Primary School; secondary education is provided by Braunton School and Community College.

Croyde Stream runs through the village, eventually leading to the beach. The centre of the village is roughly at the intersection of Hobbes' Hill, Jones' Hill and St. Mary's Road. At this spot, Croyde Bridge carries the road over the stream.

There are good rock pools at either end of the beach several public footpaths around the village and in particular walks to Baggy Point which offer spectacular views. With dogs allowed October to April activities such as swimming surfing fishing and surfboard/canoe hire all available and a range of food outlets toilets shops a slipway and beach car park with disabled parking Croyde is the perfect holiday destination.
