I'd say beating Kairat was a huge confident booster in the elite round, because it was our first game. After that win we were confident in our qualification. As for the final four – it's a completely different tournament. All four teams are really strong and anyone can win in the end. Our opponents will give 100% just like we will, so it's completely unpredictable.

Preliminary roundDepending on the number of entrants, the lower-ranked nations are drawn into three or four-team mini-tournaments played at the start of the season. Each mini-tournament is staged by one of the clubs and each team plays each other once with the group winners progressing.

Main roundThe preliminary round winners join all but the four highest-ranked entrants excused the previous stage. They are drawn into six groups of four, staged as one-venue mini-tournaments, with the top two teams going through.

Robinho won it as well! Those two are great players with a lot of experience.  During our first games in the competition they tried to convince us we didn't have to be nervous. Although I think it's only natural to be nervous as it is our first time in the competition. At the same time all our players know our strengths and weaknesses. We know our level and we know what we have to do in order to get the result.

Today, on April 2, in Khanty-Mansiysk, at the flood plain of river Gornaya, the fourth “Ugra Ski Marathon” took place. Toni Livers from Switzerland won the 50 km free style race among male athletes.

It was very special. I was deeply in shock, in a good sense of course. The emotions were very similar to the ones I felt after winning the European Under-21 title in 2008. I was very happy, but somehow that feeling didn't last for long. Already the next day we were joking that we have to start preparing for the next season to defend our title. But still it was a huge satisfaction. We worked so hard for it and our supporters deserved that success.

There is also the possibility of a rematch of the 2004 and 2010 finals, Inter having beaten Benfica in the first of those deciders before losing in Lisbon six years later. The draw took place on the Vicente Calderón pitch at half-time of Tuesday's Atlético Madrid v PSV Eindhoven UEFA Champions League match, and featured Atleti great Adelardo and Ricardinho of Inter and Portugal.

Further details, including the criteria for separating teams that finish level on points in a group, or after extra time in a match, can be found in the official competition regulations.

Elite roundThe 12 teams progressing from the main round join the four top seeds and are drawn into four groups of four teams. The winners of the one-venue mini-tournaments in late autumn progress to the finals.

2015 was a terrific year for you, with your goals leading Ugra to the title. Describe the moment when Ugra lifted trophy as Russian champions for the first time?

• Benfica reached the final on debut in 2004 but lost 7-5 on aggregate to Inter. They had revenge at the same stage in 2010 when they defeated Inter 3-2 after extra time in Lisbon; since then Ricardinho has left Benfica and is now with the Spanish champions.

It was a terrific achievement beating champions Kairat in the elite round. How much confidence does that give you ahead of the semi-finals?

The team from the central Russian city claimed their first league title last summer with victory against former UEFA Futsal Cup winners FC Dynamo to earn a European debut.

On October 28, Ivan gradually started to pull his armies back to Kremenets for winter quarters. Akhmat waited for reinforcements until November 11 and then turned south.[3] Among other reasons for Akhmat's retreat was the possible threat of Crimean, Nogai or other attacks on his unprotected home base, a common problem in nomadic warfare. As Nikolai Karamzin wrote in his "History of Russian State", "It should have been an odd image: two armies ran away from each other, not pursued by anyone".

• The team from the central Russian city claimed their first league title last summer with victory against former UEFA Futsal Cup winners FC Dynamo to earn a European debut. Their impressive 5-2 defeat of holders Kairat Almaty in their first elite round game was key to their perfect qualification, in which they scored 44 goals. Eder Lima got 13 and leads the way as competition top scorer, just as the Russian international did at UEFA Futsal EURO 2014.

The 2015/16 UEFA Futsal Cup final tournament will be played in late April and hosted by Inter FS in Spain, with Benfica, Pescara and Urga Yugorsk also taking part.

• For the first time none of the previous season's four finalists have qualified again• Inter will stage the tournament at the Palacio Multiusos de Guadalajara, selected as the venue on 11 December 2015

Your team-mate Vladislav Shayakhmetov won the UEFA Futsal Cup with Sinara Ekaterinburg in 2008 – so although Ugra are in their first season you have players who have been there before. How can his experience help Ugra?
