The game continued with Chupete throwing everything he had on the bench in order to force an equaliser and it came as Robert Montovio was pummeled to the ground by another mistake from Makan (we can understand why PSG let him go) as the keeper inexplicably took the striker down as he tried to go for the ball. Montovio stepped up and duly slotted the ball into the back of the net.

The club is currently sponsored by the Gibraltarian branch of the Spanish fuel company CEPSA.

Manchester started the brighter of the two as they sprayed the ball around the park with Gibraltar Utd sitting deep and defending with 5 men, Barnett, Power and Pusey the CB whilst Currer and Thomas the WB. This setup proved difficult to break down although Manchester did take the lead after a soft freekick on the edge of the area was duly converted, top corner, by Fran Mejias. The Spanish Beach football International scored a sensational goal to which keeper Goldwin could only stare and admire.
