The draw will take place this Thursday at 12.30pm GMT at UEFA HQ in Nyon, Switzerland. City will be away for the first leg, with the home match a week later at the Excelsior Stadium on Thursday, October 13.

Manchester City Women, competing in Europe for the first time, face 2015 Russian national champions Zvezda-2005.

First legs will be held on 7-8 October, with the second legs on 14-15 October.

The 2016-17 final will be held in Cardiff, at the Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday, 1 June 2017.

Team play each other four times, thus totalling 16 matches per team.

As the seeded teams in their respective ties, Liverpool and Glasgow City will play at home in their second legs.

The Blues enter the competition having finished as runners-up in the WSL 1 last season, though Emma Hayes’s side will be among the unseeded teams and will therefore face a second leg away from home.

The girls return to Staines Town to complete their Continental Tyres Cup group campaign next week, with a double-header against Millwall Lionesses (Wednesday 26 August) and London Bees (Sunday 30 August). Supporters wishing to attend can take advantage of reduced ticket prices of just £2 for adults and £1 for seniors/juniors for both games. As usual, Chelsea season-ticket holders will be permitted entry for free.

St. Pölten (AUT) v Brøndby (DEN)

Round-of-32 ties will be played on the 7/8 and 14/15 October. The draw takes place in Nyon tomorrow (Thursday) at 12.30pm (UK time) and is being streamed live on the UEFA.com website. Before then, the Ladies are in action in the Continental Tyres Cup away at Watford this evening, with kick-off at 7.45pm. There will be updates throughout the evening on @ChelseaLFC, the Ladies' official Twitter account.
