I highly recommend Cedar Park nursery. My daughter is two and very fond of all staff, knowing everyone’s name and always coming home happy and telling us lots of interesting stories. The food is cooked on site and the menu seems very nutritious and appetising. Children are very happy and friendly to each other. The big plus are the lovely grounds, giving the children space to run around, burn energy and explore.

The Quality Score (average rating) of 4.84 for Cedar Park Day Nursery (Twyford) is calculated as follows: ( (222 Excellents x 5) + (38 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 262 Ratings = 4.84

0.1 Point per Positive Review, up to a maximum score of 1 Point. (ie a nursery requires 10 Positive Reviews to receive the maximum score of 1 point.)

The outside space is second to none and they make great use of it - from Olympic-themed sports events to bug hunts to growing beans.

Nursery staff are excellent, really caring and engaged with the children they look after. Both my sons, aged 4 and 2, talk with great affection about their carers, and what they have done and learnt every day. Staff are also well trained at spotting and coping with development issues. My older son has thrived and come on really well at this nursery when he had struggled at previous settings. Really pleased with everything at this great nursery.

Using government guidelines, we use a three-stage programme for weaning, with menu tailored to each age group and varied every four weeks. This starts with pureed fruit and vegetables, meat and fish at about 12 months, and eventually protein sources like beans. By two years, children enjoy a varied, imaginative diet with salt and sugar kept to a minimum.

Our daughter loves this nursery because of the loving staff and because she gets to play outside every day, sing lots of books and do soft play. The menu is really healthy and varied. The feedback at the end of each session and the learning journey book is great for us parents.

On the face of it most nurseries have good standards obviously, but what's additionally important to us and makes Cedar Park a great place for our child is the genuinely happy and caring team of staff across the whole site. The nutritious and wholesome cooked food, and the location/site/building. Also feel an interesting place for our child to learn.
