Evesham is a market town equidistant between Worcester, Cheltenham, and Stratford-upon-Avon. The town was built within a loop of the River Avon which flows through the Vale of Evesham. The Vale is known for fruit growing, due to its unusually fertile soil making it one of the country’s most well-known production centres for fruit and vegetables. Today visitors can join in the fun and games at the annual asparagus and plum festivals!

Hodge Hill Farm shop, two miles from Site, sells local meat, bread, vegetable and cheeses. Farmers’ Markets are held monthly in Kidderminster and Bewdley.

Back at camp, there’ still more to do. There’s a playing field for youngsters to let off steam adjacent to the campsite and a large recreation room with table tennis and a pool table keep children occupied in bad weather. There’s an excellent dog walk and a good range of facilities including showers, laundry and site shop.
